RISING ARM BARRIERS

Still a popular option for traffic control and management, rising arm barriers can be installed singularly or as a pair to manage the flow of traffic and off site.

All barriers can be linked to the same access controls as gates and various safety devices such as photocell beams and inductive loops can be installed to prevent the barrier closing during the presence of vehicles. Specific walkways should be routed around the barriers for pedestrians to ensure they remain safe.

Designed to secure driveways and private buildings, the Sliding Barrier is the new alternative to a rising arm barrier. Available in a range of colours, powered by mains or solar as well as suitable for permanent installation or temporary deployment, it provides effective robust security for a multitude of different applications. The Sliding Barrier features a cantilever design, powered by the motor within the box, anchored to a concrete foundation.

KEY FEATURES:

  • Arm constructed of a 130 x 115mm track beam, reinforced with 80 x 80mm box section

  • Barrier typically operates at a height of 540mm above the ground

  • High speed motor operates at a max opening speed of 25m / minute

  • Barrier can operate manually if necessary

GROUNDWORKS

Groundworks are quoted separately depending on site conditions. Many customers choose to excavate and concrete the gates in themselves. Assistance in positioning can be provided on delivery.
